Economically built home in the Hamptons

New York architect Michael Haverland is turning the old caveat that expensive homes are better homes on its head. He finds that a limited budget spurs your ingenuity and sends the mind in search of creative solutions. Such was the case of his own home in East Hampton -- which resembles a simple bungalow with outsized industrial windows. His partner took care of the interior design with a collection of modern furniture.
