Renovated house in Bærum, Norway

Siri Skaalmo and Svein Inge Clay Gulen bought a much patched and added-to house and saw it as an opportunity rather than a difficult and exhausting renovation project, They created something new out of something old. They kept the windows and slate tiles, the towering staircase and all the other details that make it a special home but added contemporary design.
