Like many period houses, Claudia's semi-detached red brick townhouse has seen some changes in its time. By the time Claudia, an antiques dealer who specialises in French armoires and beds, took it on in 2001, it had become a substantial family home once more, though the décor was not so much elegant as tired and multi-coloured with a layout ready for a re-think.
