Anyone who believes that a home with eco credentials is going to be either off the wall or somewhat rough around the edges needs to take a good, long look at interior designer Victoria pied à terre. Just like its owner, this Chelsea apartment is both polished and impeccably styled; yet the transformation has been carried out mindful of its effects on the environment. ‘A sustainable project really doesn’t have to shout out “green”, ’ notes Victoria, who painstakingly sourced natural materials and reclaimed pieces, to avoid adding to landfill sites. The result is smart, in every sense of the word.
