Brando Cimarosti

Brando Cimarosti is a Milan based photographer specializing in interiors, design and architecture. He is know for his artful compositions and sensitive use of natural light. His clients include interior designers, architects, design magazines, news papers, book publishers and advertising agencies. His assignments have taken him across Italy and around the world.

Brando has a degree in Communication obtained at the Turin Faculty of Letter and Philosophy and a specialization in photography at the European Institute of Design in Milan. After graduating, he apprenticed with internationally acclaimed interior photographer, Franco Capra, and renowned Milan advertising photographer, Maria Vittoria Backhaus. In 1995 he started his business.

In 2009 he moved to São Paulo for a couple of years, and he realized various editorials for brazilian magazines and he photographed important projects of brazilian architects like Guilherme Paoliello, Siegbert Zanettini, Luciano Devià, Pedro Useche, Forte-Gimenez & Marcondes Ferraz.

In over twenty years Brando’s photography has been featured in Italian and foreign interiors magazines; among these Casaviva, Bravacasa, Marie Claire Maison, D Magazine, Spazio Casa, Casa D, Casa Facile, Gioia, Dentro Casa, Arredare Casa, Cose di Casa, Abitare Country, DHD, Ville Giardini, 20 Casas, Casa&Campo, Casa&Jardim, Casaviva Colombia, Diva Wohnen, Stella. He’s also been published in important book collections dedicated to the world of interiors.

In 2015 he began a collaboration with the german magazine Die Welt Icon dedicated to the lifestyle in the world.
