Summer Retreat

A special place for summer in Copenhagen, Denmark

Abelone Jochumsen always wanted to have a wooden deck in her backyard. It soon grew into a natural extension of the ground floor. Despite its limited size, the area has provided her home with a cozy corner containing a den, dining area and a space for barbecues. It also solved the problem of urban gardening by limiting plants to decorative pots on the deck.
