Crown prince Oscar II laid the foundation for the garden in 1860 overlooking the sound near Helsingborg Summer palace. The garden was in the English style, then in vogue, and continues to this day true to the original plans, so you can now visit the once royal football field and spread a picnic blanket on the lawn.
