It isn't easy to find an apartment with an elevation of six meters in Paris. Yet this couple, who formerly lived in New York, found just that in a house built in 1890s. They created a duplex apartment whose originality and clear lines set new standards. Ingrid Seynhaere and her companion were worried about what they would find in Paris and because they knew they couldn't adapt to the architecture of typical Parisian apartments with with small rooms and low ceilings.
